Rogue Ales (Newport, Oregon) recently announced that Yellow Snow India Pale Ale will be available in cans for the first time in its long history when this Winter Seasonal officially releases on November 1.
Originally released in 2002 in celebration of the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Yellow Snow IPA is Rogue’s hop-filled “tribute to winter sports everywhere—downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country, ice hockey, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and even curling.” Brewed with hops and barley grown at Rogue Farms, this offering is pale golden in color and “features a hoppy, tropical-fruit-forward aroma complemented by a medium body and hoppyness mid-palate.”
“The new cans of Yellow Snow IPA are portable and lightweight,” says Rogue President Brett Joyce. “The only thing we want heavy this winter is the snowfall.”
Yellow Snow IPA will officially release on November 1 and will be available in 6-packs of 12 oz. bottles, 4-packs of 16 oz. cans, 64 oz. growlers and on draft. This offering will be found on the shelves and taps of select craft beer establishments within the expansive distribution area of Rogue Ales. Yellow Snow IPA will only be hanging around during late fall and through the winter months, so be sure to keep an eye out for this one to satisfy any cold-weather IPA cravings you may encounter. Prost!
