New Belgium Brewing (Ft. Collins, Colorado) recently announced that it is spicing up its Voodoo Ranger lineup this fall with the special release of Atomic Pumpkin Ale.
The Voodoo Ranger – New Belgium’s mischievous mascot and face of the brewery’s edgy line of hop-laden brews and special releases – is taking a break from the hops this fall to put his twist on the Pumpkin Ale style with the introduction of Atomic Pumpkin Ale. “Brewed with Saigon cinnamon and Habanero peppers”, this 6.4% ABV, specialty Seasonal release promises to be a unique experience that “starts out sweet and finishes spicy with a little bitterness in between.”
“Atomic Pumpkin is a twist on pumpkin ale for beer drinkers who like some heat,” said Bryan Simpson, public relations director for New Belgium. “Classic fall flavors like pumpkin pie and cinnamon offer a sweet counterpart to the fiery peppers, making it a great, full-flavored beer for the crisp autumn weather.”
Atomic Pumpkin Ale is rolling out now and will be available through October 2017. You can expect to find this Seasonal offering available at craft beer establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Colorado, North Carolina, and throughout the rest of New Belgium’s expansive distribution footprint. Prost!
