Heavy Seas Beer (Baltimore, Maryland) has announced that Winter Storm Imperial ESB will officially begin its Seasonal return in October.
Drawing on “hops from both the West Coast and the UK for its elegant bitterness”, Winter Storm is a “ruddy hued, richly flavored” Imperial Extra Special Bitter (ESB) that has “subtle aromas of nutty malts, earthy hops, and a trace of cocoa.” Clocking in at 7.5% ABV, this Limited/Seasonal release “is a perfect beer for fall and winter, especially because of its warming qualities.”
“It was our first international gold medal winning beer,” says brewery Founder, Hugh Sisson. “And I’m not supposed to say it, but I think it may be my favorite beer!”
Winter Storm Imperial ESB will officially arrive in October and hang around through December. Once it drops, you can expect to find this Limited Release available at select craft beer establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Maryland and throughout the rest of Heavy Seas Beer’s distribution area. Prost!
