Bell’s Brewery Plans to Introduce Bell’s Official American Wheat IPA in 2019

Bells_Official_Can_RenderBell’s Brewery (Comstock, Michigan) has officially announced that it will add Bell’s Official American Wheat IPA to its Year-Round lineup in February 2019.

Developed with inspiration from “the limited release of Titania and later, Larry’s Latest IPA“, Official is an American Wheat India Pale Ale that “brings pungent American hops and wheat malt together” to produce “a refined beer for those who love hops and for those who prefer wheat beers.”  This new offering is double dry-hopped with “a combination of Mosaic, Citra, Azacca, Amarillo and El Dorado hops” to offer its drinker “notes of peach, stone fruit and tropical hop characteristics with a dry finish and balanced bitterness.”  Coming in at an easy-drinking 6.4% ABV, Bell’s Official has its sights set on becoming the “Official beer of get-togethers, the back yard, after work, nights out (and at home), the journey, a good day, hikes… you name it.”

“We do American IPAs really well. We also do wheat beers very well. Official brings the best of both and combines them in a way that is approachable and enjoyable no matter what you prefer,” said Larry Bell, Bell’s President and Founder.

“The name of the beer is simple, yet it makes a statement. This is our interpretation of what a hoppy wheat beer should taste like,” he said.

Bell’s Official will debut in February 2019 with availability in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans, 6-packs of 12 oz. cans, 6-packs of 12 oz. bottles and on draft.  You can expect to find this new Year-Round offering at craft beer establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Michigan and throughout the rest of Bell’s Brewery’s 40-state distribution area.  Prost!
