Celis Brewery Brings Dubbel Coffee Porter Back for the Fall

CelisDCPCelis Brewery (Austin, Texas) announced today that it has officially begun the Seasonal Release of its wildly-popular Dubbel Coffee Porter, and this year it is available for the first time in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans.

Created by Christine Celis in 2014 and now recognized as “the world’s first Dubbel Coffee Porter”, Celis Dubbel Coffee Porter is a hybrid-style Porter brewed with Hallertau and Millenium hops, international cold-pressed coffee sourced from Summer Moon Coffee Bar in Austin, and a yeast strain typically used in Belgian-style Dubbels.  This interesting mix of ingredients produces “pleasant tastes of subdued berries, dark malts, and equal amounts of coffee and cocoa from the infusion of the coffee blend.”  Weighing in at a warming 7% ABV, the “robust yet smooth, rich-bodied” Celis Dubbel Coffee Porter promises to be “a perfect cozy beer for the festive months of fall and winter.”

“It blew our minds how quickly we sold out of our Dubbel Coffee Porter last fall,” says Christine Celis, founder of Celis Brewery. “It is an incredibly popular beer. To make sure we have enough of it this year, we increased our production. Lots of people asked for it in cans. We heard you loud and clear. This is a delicious coffee porter brewed with Guatemalan and Mexican coffee beans.”

Celis Dubbel Coffee Porter is rolling out now and will be available as long as supplies last.  You can expect to find this Seasonal Release available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-friendly establishments located across the state of Texas.  Prost!
