Cascade Brewing (Portland, Oregon) has officially announced that The Devil Wears Lager, the brewery’s first ever-lager in cans, will debut on Friday, November 8.
Arriving as a bit of a departure from Cascade Brewing’s lauded lineup of Northwest sour style ales, The Devil Wears Lager – a special collaboration with Roy Farms of Moxee, Washington – is a Dry-hopped Lager featuring “generous portions of experimental Pacific Northwest hops from the ADHA breeding program.” Known as ADHA-1940, this new hop varietal is “front and center in this brew, lending an American noble hop quality with aromatic, spicy, floral and resinous characteristics.”
The Devil Wears Lager will officially hit Cascade’s two Portland pubs – Cascade Brewing Barrel House and Lodge at Cascade Brewing – on November 8. This new offering is currently only available in 16 oz. cans, but draft availability is expected to surface in the coming weeks. Prost!
