Terrapin Beer Co. (Athens, Georgia) has officially announced that High & Hazy IPA will join its Year-Round lineup in mid-March 2020.

Brewed with a “copious amounts of wheat and flaked oats” to achieve a “soft and silky-smooth mouthfeel,” High & Hazy IPA is a Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale “loaded with four varieties of tropical and citrus forward hops” – Amarillo, Citra, Idaho 7, and Simcoe – that were incorporated as late whirlpool and dry-hop additions.  This “last minute” approach to the use of the featured hops makes it so High & Hazy IPA (5.8% ABV, 38 IBUs) has a pronounced juicy hop character in both flavor and aroma but with a “laid-back bitterness.”

High & Hazy IPA will debut at Terrapin’s brewery location in Athens, Georgia on March 13 and is scheduled to enter distribution shortly after that date.  You can expect to find this new Year-Round offering available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at craft beer-friendly establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and throughout the rest of Terrapin’s distribution area.  Prost!
