Wild Leap Brew Co. Begins Limited Release of Cookies & Cream Stout

WildLeapLogoWild Leap Brew Co. (LaGrange, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Cookies & Cream Stout on Monday, April 27.

Meant to capture the cool, satisfying experience of enjoying a bowl of cookies and cream ice cream on a warm day, Cookies & Cream (10.5% ABV) is a “sweet and creamy” Milk Stout brewed with cocoa, vanilla and lactose.  These ingredients combine to “[taste] like vanilla ice cream and [finish] with a chocolate cookie taste.”  Although you may be tempted, Wild Leap does caution that you “DO NOT twist can and lick the middle.”

“Occasionally we like to design beers that reflect on my 8+ years working in the ice cream industry,” says Wild Leap’s Chief Brewing Officer, Chris Elliott. “One of my favorite flavors is Cookies n’ Cream, and our staff was really excited about the idea of designing a stout that tastes just like the ice cream.”

“When people think ‘stout’ they may tend to think fall or winter. We don’t like to pigeon hole beers that way, though,” says Anthony Rodriguez, Wild Leap CEO and Co-Founder. “The familiar, sweet taste of ice cream you get when drinking Cookies & Cream makes it a perfect stout for warmer months.”

Cookies & Cream Stout is scheduled to debut on April 27 and will hang around only as long as supplies last.  You can expect to find this Limited Release offering available in 4-packs of 12 oz. cans at Wild Leap Brew Co. for curbside pick-up only (click here to pre-order) and at select craft beer-focused establishments located within Wild Leap’s distribution footprint in Georgia.  Prost!
