Wild Leap Brew Co. (LaGrange, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Rocky Road Ice Cream Stout on Wednesday, July 22.

Dropping as the latest release in Wild Leap’s series of ice cream-inspired Stouts, Rocky Road Ice Cream Stout is a “thick, sweet and creamy” Imperial Milk Stout loaded down with additions of cocoa, vanilla bean, almond and marshmallow. Weighing in at 10.5% ABV, Rocky Road Ice Cream Stout has been specifically “brewed for diets high in decadence and guilty pleasures.”

“We’ve definitely found our niche with stouts – dessert and ice cream-inspired stouts really get us excited!” explains Chris Elliott, Head Brewer at Wild Leap. “We’ve made small batch stouts in the past that have featured cocoa and almond and they were incredibly popular, so we felt it was natural to add marshmallow and make Rocky Road!”

Rocky Road Ice Cream Stout is scheduled to debut on July 22 and will hang around only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 12 oz. cans at select craft beer-focused establishments located within Wild Leap’s distribution footprint in Georgia. Prost!
