Wild Leap Brew Co. (LaGrange, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 13 on Monday, July 27.

Crafted to bring “eerie vibes and chilling flavors” to Wild Leap Brew Co.’s experimental Double IPA series, Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 13 is a Hazy/Juicy Double India Pale Ale double dry-hopped with Sabro hops. This hop varietal shines by lending Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 13 (8% ABV, 44 IBUs) with “a bold coconut flavor [and] playfully subtle notes of tropical fruits, herbs and pine with a smooth mouthfeel.”

“Exploring hop varieties is the reason we created the Alpha Abstraction Series. For every new Alpha, we experiment using a new and different style of hop,” explains Chris Elliott, Head Brewer at Wild Leap Brew Co. “From Vol 1. to Vol. 12, the Alpha Abstraction Series has featured 14 unique hop varieties. The introduction of Sabro hops in Vol. 13 will bring us to a total of 15 different hop varieties used throughout the Alpha series!”

Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 13 is scheduled to release on July 27 and will stick around only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release offering available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans at select craft beer-focused establishments located within Wild Leap’s distribution footprint in Georgia.
