Cascade Brewing Spices Up the Holidays with Release of Cocoa Cardamom

Cascade Brewing (Portland, Oregon) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Cocoa Cardamom (2018) on Friday, December 4.

Here to supply you with a unique and flavorful option to enjoy this Holiday Season, Cocoa Cardamom (2018) is a “blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels and foudres for up to two years followed by late infusions of Dutch cocoa powder, cardamom seeds and fresh orange zest.” These ingredients combine to “[capture] a remarkably complex spectrum of flavors . . . [ranging] from notes of dark chocolate to bright citrus fruit and fragrant cardamom.” The ABV for Cocoa Cardamom varies from 8.7% in 500ml bottles and on draft to 9.8% in 250ml cans.

Cocoa Cardamom (2018) is scheduled to release at Cascade’s two Portland pubs – Cascade Brewing Barrel House and Lodge at Cascade Brewing – on December 4 and will enter distribution shortly after that date. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 250ml cans, 500ml bottles and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Oregon and throughout the rest of Cascade Brewing’s distribution area.
