Stone Brewing (Escondido, California) has officially announced that it will begin the Special Release of Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA in early January 2021.

First released in 2007 and now known as “the most requested Stone beer of all time,” Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous is a Black India Pale Ale that rocks an “unmistakable piney and orange-raspberry hop character . . . perfectly complemented by warm notes of coffee and chocolate.” Coming in at 8.7% ABV and an impressive 90 IBUs, Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA “pours black with a light tan head but don’t be deceived! It serves up an IPA-worthy dose of bitterness.”

Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA is actively rolling out now and will be hanging around for a limited time. You can expect to find this Special Release available in 6-packs of 12 oz. bottles, 22 oz. bottles and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida, California, Virginia and throughout the rest of Stone Brewing’s nationwide distribution network.
