DuClaw Brewing Tricks Us All With Hoodwink IPA

DuClaw Brewing Co. (Baltimore, Maryland) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Hoodwink, a Faux Brett IPA, in late January 2021.

Creatively developed by DuClaw to provide the complexity of a Brett experience without all the dangers of inoculating their entire brewery with that pesky lil’ yeasty, Hoodwink is an India Pale Ale that uses an alternate “yeast that produces just the right amount of funk and fruit esters with notes of mango and pineapple.” Coming in at 6.5% ABV, Hoodwink will have you “[pourin’ one out and [embracing] the deception.”

Hoodwink is rolling out now and will be available only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 16 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Maryland and throughout the rest of DuClaw’s distribution footprint. Prost!
