Tröegs Independent Brewing (Hershey, Pennsylvania) has officially announced that LolliHop DIPA will return for a Limited Release in mid-March 2021.
Inspired by the brewery’s “annual pilgrimage to . . . the hop fields of Yakima Valley, Washington,” LolliHop is a Hazy/Juicy Double India Pale Ale “[dry-hopped] with Citra and Mosaic [to layer] in notes of orange, grapefruit and melon, while Azacca in the kettle adds hints of papaya and pineapple.” Coming in at 8.2% ABV, LolliHop is rounded off with a backbone supplied by “Pennsylvania-grown Rustic pale malt from nearby Double Eagle, while a portion of wheat and oats give the beer a silky smooth texture with a touch of haze.”
LolliHop DIPA is rolling out now and will be hanging around only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Pennsylvania and throughout the rest of Tröegs Independent Brewing’s distribution footprint. Prost!
