WISEACRE Brewing Co. Adds Hazy Double IPA to Year-Round Lineup

WISEACRE Brewing Co. (Memphis, Tennessee) has officially announced that Puffel Hazy Juicy Double IPA will join the brewery’s Year-Round portfolio in late July 2021.

Inspired by the age of Pangea and the wildlife that lived “off the coast of the coast of an Archipelago that included Madagascar, New Zealand, and the Faroe Islands,” Puffel is a Hazy/Juicy Double India Pale Ale that features “New Zealand-bred Nelson Sauvin hops which bring cool climate white wine grape flavors, extreme fruitiness, passionfruit, and fresh crushed gooseberries.” Coming in at 9% ABV, Puffel is much like the pengwolf as it “packs a deceptively potent punch.”

โ€œThis beer will be right at 9% ABV and is new age-y with the hazy appearance and hop character. The hop variety is something new for us, we are thrilled that we got our hands on enough of the highly sought-after New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops to commit to Puffel being a year round beer.โ€

– Davin Bartosch, Co-Founder and Brewmaster at WISEACRE Brewing Co.

Puffel will officially debut at WISEACRE on July 30 and will hit distribution at or around that date. You can expect to find this new Year-Round offering available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft at craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and throughout the rest of the brewery’s distribution footprint. Prost!
