Schlafly Beer (St. Louis, Missouri) has officially announced that Summer Lager will be rocking a new look when it returns for its Seasonal Release in early April 2022.

A beloved “summer beer with a brand-new look,” Summer Lager is a Helles-style Lager that “offers a smooth, maltier and hoppier alternative to light lagers.” Coming in at a crushable 4.5% ABV, Summer Lager “is a bright, golden beer, wholly representative of what summertime should taste like.”

“This sessionable beer is brewed with German Hops, creating an easily drinkable beer, perfect to enjoy on a warm summer day,” says Lead Brewer Jared Williamson. “We wanted to create a beer can design that reflects Summer Lager’s drinkability, especially at the lake, beach or sitting poolside.”

Summer Lager is rolling out now and will be around throughout the months of Summer 2022. You can expect to find this Seasonal Release available in 12 oz. cans, 16 oz. cans and on draft at craft beer-friendly establishments located in Missouri and throughout the rest of Schlafly’s distribution area.
