Wild Leap Brew Co. Explores New Experimental Hop with Release of Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 11

WildLeapAADIPA11Wild Leap Brew Co. (LaGrange, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the release of Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 11, a Double IPA featuring the experimental hop HBC 472, during the week of February 24.

A true embodiment of Wild Leap’s mission to explore hop varieties and experiment with different flavor profiles in its Alpha Abstraction Series, Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 11 is a double dry-hopped, Juicy Double India Pale Ale that showcases the experimental hop HBC 472.  This unique hop provides Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 11 (8% ABV) with “aromas of bourbon oak, berry and white grape” alongside the expected “citrus notes associated with the Alpha Abstraction series.”

“We were attracted to the really unique profile that HBC 472 had, but it was so unusual we decided to do a test batch to see how well it would work with the fruity and citrusy characteristics of the Alpha Abstraction series,” says Chris Elliott, Wild Leap’s Chief Brewing Officer. “The combination was amazing. We immediately knew we had Vol. 11!”

“With everything we do, we push ourselves to explore and bring new things to the table,” says Anthony Rodriguez, CEO and Co-Founder of Wild Leap. “Vol. 11 is a representation of that mentality.”

Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 11 is rolling out now and will last only as long as supplies last.  You can expect to find this Limited Release offering available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located within Wild Leap’s distribution footprint in Georgia.  Prost!
