Belching Beaver Brewery Goes Year-Round with No Worries IPA

Belching Beaver Brewery (San Diego, California) has officially announced that No Worries, “a true-to-style West Coast IPA,” will join the brewery’s Year-Round lineup on April 2, 2021.

Created “to round out [Belching Beaver’s] year-round beer portfolio by offering a true West Coast IPA that will be attractive to craft beer enthusiasts and novices alike,” No Worries is a West Coast-style India Pale Ale that sources “dank and tropical fruit aromas” from a hop bill comprised of Strata, Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo hops. Coming in at 6.2% ABV and 45 IBUs, No Worries is a “crisp IPA [that] will dominate the senses and brighten your day.”

“Last year proved to be a challenging year, and let’s face it, a painful year for many people and businesses,” explains Belching Beaver CEO Tom Vogel.  Now that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, the craft beer industry is starting to pick up and the horizon is looking bright again. We thought now is the right moment to enjoy good times again and introduce a new beer to our year-round offerings. Now Worries IPA pays tribute to celebrating the positive moments in life, moving on from the anxieties of the past and our daily lives…No worries – Just enjoy!”

No Worries will debut on April 2 with availability in 6-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft. You can expect to find this new Year-Round at craft beer-focused establishments located in California and throughout the rest of Belching Beaver’s distribution footprint. Prost!

Deftones Collaborate with Belching Beaver Brewery to Create Phantom Bride IPA

belchingbeaverdeftonesbottleMusic and craft beer join forces once again as the Deftones and Belching Beaver Brewery (Vista, California) have announced that the two have partnered up to create Phantom Bride India Pale Ale as a new limited release.

Phantom Bride India Pale Ale, named after a track on their most recently released album entitled Gore, is the product of the Deftones branching out to try their hand at craft brewing.  The Grammy Award-winning alternative metal band reached out to the folks at Belching Beaver Brewery to make this project a reality.  This West Coast IPA boasts an impressive hop bill consisting of four varietals – Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe – that was carefully selected by Deftones frontman Chino Moreno.   This union of music and brewing comes together as a hoppy experience that Moreno says he would “put right up with any of my favourites. Good stuff!”  The full brewery description of Phantom Bride IPA is as follows:

“Named after the ethereal song by the one and only Deftones, Phantom Bride IPA is a blend of Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic hops delicately balanced for the perfectly drinkable mix of citrus and hoppy goodness.”  ABV – 7.1%  IBUs – 55

22 oz. bottles and kegs of Phantom Bride IPA were officially shipped on October 3 to distributors in California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.  This offering is also available at all Belching Beaver tasting room locations.  An official launch event for the beer will be held on October 5 at 8 p.m. at Fullerton, California’s Slidebar (band will not be present at the event).  If you are a Deftones fan and this is a beer that you just need to get your hands on, be sure to do it as soon as possible because Phantom Bride IPA will only be around for a limited time while supplies last.  Prost!
