Flying Dog Plays Trickster, Introduces Deepfake Non-Alcoholic IPA

Flying Dog Brewery (Frederick, Maryland) has officially announced that it will introduce Deepfake Non-Alcoholic IPA in early July 2021.

Developed to “make you question everything you thought you knew about non-alcoholic beer,” Deepfake is a Non-Alcoholic India Pale Ale that uses Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra hops to produce an “aroma and flavor profile dominated by hop notes of orange, grapefruit, mango and passionfruit.” Coming in at less than 0.5% ABV, Deepfake is “a delicious IPA-imposter with a medium body and clean finish. For consumers who want to avoid alcohol for any reason, but don’t want to sacrifice the taste and feel of the real thing, Deepfake is the perfect illusion.”

“Choosing a non-alcoholic beer shouldn’t mean suffering through a tasteless, watery imposter,” said James Maravetz, VP of Marketing at Flying Dog Brewery. “Deepfake gives you the satisfaction of drinking a real beer, without the added calories and alcohol. It would fool anyone.”

Deepfake is rolling out now as Flying Dog’s newest Year-Round brew. You can expect to find this new Non-Alcoholic option available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans at craft beer-friendly establishments located in Maryland and throughout the rest of Flying Dog’s distribution area. Prost!
