Tröegs Independent Brewing (Hershey, Pennsylvania) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of HopCyclone in late September/early October 2020.
Named after the Hop Cyclone technology Tröegs uses to circulate and churn the hops properly throughout the fermenter to ensure that the “[hop] oils hit every last drop of beer,” HopCyclone is a Hazy/Juicy Double India Pale Ale that establishes a hazy foundation with a “grain bill of pilsner malt, Vienna malt and wheat” and is generously hopped with a “combination of Citra, Sabro, Sultana and Simcoe” hops. Coming in at 9% ABV, HopCyclone offers a sensory experience featuring “heroic hop flavor and low bitterness.”
HopCyclone is rolling out now and will last only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this new Limited Release available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located within Tröegs Independent Brewing’s full distribution footprint. Prost!
