Pair O’Dice Brewing Co. Extends Reach to Central Florida

PODLuckyLucyPair O’Dice Brewing Company (Clearwater, Florida) has officially entered into a partnership with Sunshine State Distributing to expand distribution into several counties of Central Florida.

After establishing a “background in mass brewing”, husband and wife duo Julia and Ken Rosenthal decided to take “the time to perfect their recipes before” founding Pair O’ Dice Brewing Company in 2013.  They have since taken the same careful, methodical approach when it comes to growth and expansion of distribution.  With the belief that now is the time to introduce themselves to the beer-loving masses of Central Florida, Julia and Ken recently conducted an “extensive search . . . to find the best possible distributor for their beers.”  With their research now complete, they have decided that Sunshine State Distributing is the perfect partner to assist them in six Central Florida counties: Orange, Osceola, Polk, Brevard, Lake and Seminole.

“We learned about Sunshine State from a fellow brewery,” Julia Rosenthal, Pair O’Dice co-founder, said. “After meeting the team there, we were thrilled to get the opportunity to work with them on our brand. It’s a mutually beneficial partnership, and we can’t say enough good things about the level knowledge and collaboration that Sunshine State brings to the table.”

Beginning in September, Pair O’ Dice Brewing will launch in Central Florida with core offerings such as “Lucky Lucy Strawberry Blonde and Clearwater Honey Cream . . . , the brewery’s Hop Streak series of limited edition IPAs as well as a nitro line.”  If you live in the area, you can expect to find these beers available “in cans and on draft at taverns and in retail stores.”  Prost!

The Pit Boss Triple IPA Returns for Pair O’ Dice Brewing

Florida hop heads, take notice!  Pair O’ Dice Brewing has brewed up a new batch of The Pit Boss Triple IPA just for you.  With a hop bill comprised of Amarillo, Apollo, Chinook, Mosaic and Simcoe hops, this juicy Imperial India Pale Ale was brewed with “more than 4 pounds of hops per barrel.”  This heavy-handed punch of hops “delivers an enormous amount of citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavors followed by some resinous, dank goodness.”  Not to be trifled with, The Pit Boss weighs in at an intimidating 11.5% ABV and 125 IBUs.

“I love IPAs and The Pit Boss Triple IPA is my masterpiece.” says Pair O’ Dice’s Head Brewer, Ken Rosenthal. “When I opened Pair O’ Dice Brewing 3 years ago, I was inspired to bring fresh, hoppy, west coast style IPAs to Florida. As new hops varieties become available and the IPA market changes I’ve taken inspiration from the northeast as well. The Pit Boss Triple IPA blends the clean, hoppy, light bodied west coast imperial IPA with the juicy and fruity IPAs of New England. Pair O’ Dice Brewing to hold taproom release for The Great Nelson Motato

PODLogoPair O’ Dice Brewing Company (4400 118th Avenue North, Suite 208, Clearwater, Florida) recently announced that they will be hosting a draft release for The Great Nelson Motato Double Pale Ale on Friday, August 5 at 4 p.m.

To mark the first beer release for Assistant Brewer Dominique Eva Erwin, Pair O’ Dice Brewing will be featuring The Great Nelson Motato Double Pale Ale on the taproom’s tap wall on Friday.  The name of this offering is an homage to The Great Mutato, the monster in Dominique’s favorite X-Files episode called The Post-Modern Prometheus (Season 5/Episode 5).  This Double Pale Ale weighs in at 7.4% ABV and was brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hops.  This hop treatment should yield an aromatic and flavor profile that is bursting with tropical fruits and a lovely complexity reminiscent of white wine grape notes.

While you explore all that The Great Nelson Motato has to offer, you can also enjoy a wonderful pairing of bratwurst from Brats Sensation (on-site at the taproom from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.).  The beer starts pouring at 4 p.m. on Friday, so get there early to sip on this special limited release from Dominique and Pair O’ Dice Brewing Company.  Prost!
