Rogue Ales (Newport, Oregon) has officially gotten in on the beer calendar madness to provide us all with an idea of what to expect from the brewery in 2017.

Just as you would expect, the folks at Rogue Ales have quite a bit planned for 2017. We have posted their full 2017 Product Calendar below for you to take a look at, but the following highlights certainly deserve a mention first:

The Year-Round lineup in 2017 will consist of 4 Hop IPA, 5 Hop IPA (New Release), 6 Hop IPA, 7 Hop IPA, 8 Hop IPA, Brutal India Pale Ale, Chocolate Stout, Cold Brew IPA, Dead Guy Ale, Hazelnut Brown Nectar, Mocha Porter & Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout.
Hazelutely Choctabulous arrives as the first Limited Release offering of 2017 from Rogue. This special blend of Chocolate Stout and Hazelnut Brown Nectar is available January through April.
Promise Gone Aw-Rye Red Rye IPA will return in September as a Limited Release offering.
Beginning in October, a Nitro version of Chocolate Stout will see a limited release in cans.
The Voodoo Doughnut Series continues in November with a flavor that is to be determined.
Other new Limited Releases include Hot Tub Scholarship Lager, Paradise Pucker and Whiskey Barrel-Aged Dead Guy Ale.

Rogue Ales (Newport, Oregon) recently announced that they have released Promise Gone Aw-Rye IPA as a new specialty offering.

Each year, a special one-time only beer is brewed up by Brewmaster John Maier and given as a gift to all Rogue employees for the holidays. The story is supposed to end there for these exclusive beers, but last year’s creation of a Red Rye India Pale Ale was such a hit with members of the Rogue Ales family that they decided it just had to be shared with all fans of craft beer and the brewery. Dubbed Promise Gone Aw-Rye, this 7.5% ABV offering is brewed with Dream Rye grown at Rogue Farms to allow the beer to lead with a spicy character. Rogue Farms-grown hops and a full malt body provide the rye with balance and support to bring this this truly special Rye IPA together.

“Not only did it take a lot of convincing for John to finally agree to break his promise and brew more of his red rye IPA,” said Rogue President Brett Joyce, “but it’s taken a lot of dare, risk and dream to grow our own rye.”

Promise Gone Aw-Rye IPA is now available for a limited time on draft and in 22 oz. bombers. Look for this brew at craft beer-friendly establishments in Alabama, Florida and throughout Rogue’s distribution area. Prost!
