Second Line Brewing (New Orleans, Louisiana) has officially announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Budweiser Busch Distributing Co. (Bud Busch) in Mobile, Alabama and will begin distribution in South Alabama in April 2020.
Founded five years ago, Second Line Brewing has since established “itself as one of New Orleans’ most loved neighborhood craft breweries” by “brewing honest and well-crafted small batch beers at their brewery located in the Mid-City neighborhood.” Now that they are confident that they can “support the brand appropriately” in other markets, Second Line has decided to launch distribution in South Alabama with the following three offerings:
- Queen of New England – New England-style India Pale Ale
- Saison Named Desire – A classic Saison brewed with orange zest and Moro blood orange. Light, refreshing, balanced and perfect for any occasion. ABV – 5.6% IBUs – 27
- West Coast Style IPA – Heaps of late kettle and dry hops, along with a restrained malt bill and hop-friendly water profile come together to produce an IPA with a great floral aroma and assertive citrus/grapefruit flavor. ABV – 6.5% IBUs – 68
“Extending our reach into Alabama with Bud Busch makes total sense for us. There are a lot of ties between New Orleans and Southern Alabama including Mardi Gras in Mobile, vacationing in Fairhope and of course the beach at Gulf Shores. We have a great following in New Orleans and look forward to extending our following to South Alabama.”
– Mark Logan, Co-founder & COO at Second Line Brewing
With Bud Busch handling all distribution responsibilities, Second Line Brewing plans to begin distribution in South Alabama on April 1.
