Reformation Brewery (Atlanta, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Yoshimi – a Rainbow Sherbet Sour Ale – on Friday, July 19.
Named after an iconic Flaming Lips album and inspired by the “the nostalgia of rainbow sherbet and [Reformation’s] Brewmaster’s flights to Japan”, Yoshimi is a “fruited kettle sour that contains milk sugar & swirls of raspberry, pineapple, & orange.” Clocking in at 5% ABV, Yoshimi is here to hit your summer with a sweet and sour kick.
“We snuck in a few early sherbet sour prototypes from our Workshop, and they took off,” said Spencer Nix, CEO and Co-founder of Reformation Brewery. “We’re always reforming, and having this space to explore timeless and inspired recipes really gives us a chance to hear what our community wants from us. It’s a great space to craft our future alongside the beers we know and love.”
Yoshimi will make its debut at Reformation Brewery’s Woodstock and Canton taproom locations on July 19 and distribution is scheduled to follow shortly after the on-site release. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located within Reformation’s distribution footprint in Georgia and Tennessee. Prost!
