Terrapin Beer Co. (Athens, Georgia) recently announced that Luau Krunkles Passion-Orange-Guava IPA has been officially released as a part of the brewery’s latest IPA Survival Kit 12-pack.

The gallivanting ways of the IPA-loving Krunkles, Terrapin Beer Co.’s globe-trotting “legendary brewer” (click here for the full story), led him to Hawaii this time around to explore and experience local ingredients and flavors.  The research he conducted there has led to the creation of Luau Krunkles Passion-Orange-Guava IPA, a hoppy brew whose “tropical aromas of Passionfruit, Orange and Guava dominate the nose while a big juicy hop flavor and smooth bitterness complement the balance of the beer.”

Officially replacing Krunkles Down Under, 12 oz. cans of Luau Krunkles Passion-Orange-Guava IPA are available now exclusively within the fall installment of the IPA Survival Kit 12-pack.  This offering joins Hopsecutioner IPA, Hi-5 California-style IPA, and RecreationAle in this mixed 12-pack of cans.  A very limited amount of Luau Krunkles will also be kegged and head out to distribution.  Look for Luau Krunkles on draft and in the IPA Survival Kit in Alabama, Florida and throughout Terrapin Beer’s full distribution area.  Prost!
