Weyerbacher Brewing Plans Limited Release of Berry Monks Tripel

berrymonksweyerbacher6erWeyerbacher Brewing (Easton, Pennsylvania) has announced that they will officially begin distribution of Berry Monks Belgian-style Tripel as a limited release on Tuesday, November 15.

Berry Monks arrives as a fruit-laced variant of Weyerbacher’s Merry Monks Belgian-style Tripel, a year-round offering from the brewery that boasts “a remarkable and complex flavor packed with notes of spice, banana and pear.”  To add a new twist on this old favorite, Berry Monks has been brewed with the additions of cranberries, orange peel and ginger.  This updated recipe yields a “9.3% ABV ale . . . ripe with apple and pear notes, which blend nicely with the tartness of the cranberries, the citrus twist of the orange peel and a touch of ginger.”

This limited release offering will officially launch on November 15th at The Tap Room at Weyerbacher Brewing.  Berry Monks will then head out to distribution in 6-packs of 12 oz. bottles and on draft.  You can expect to find this one on shelves and taps at select craft beer establishments in Florida and throughout the brewery’s full distribution area (full list of states below).  Berry Monks Belgian-style Tripel will only be around for a limited time, so keep an eye out for this one in mid-November.  Prost!
