Anderson Valley Brewing Company (Boonville, California) has officially released Framboise Rose Gose as the newest installment in its rotating line of Goses.
Developed as their take on a Rosé in beer form, the brewers at Anderson Valley brought Framboise Rose Gose to life by “adding rose hips to the boil and fresh raspberry puree at the end of fermentation.” These additions result in a “light ruby [hued]” kettle-soured beer highlighted by “subtle raspberry fruit notes [that greet] the nose and fall soft on the palate; tangy, hibiscus-like flavors [that mingle] with the salty tartness of Gose to create a uniquely complex and refreshing drinking experience.”
Framboise Rose Gose is officially available now and has plans to stick around through August. You can expect to find this new Gose available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at craft beer establishments located in Alabama, Florida, California and throughout the rest of Anderson Valley’s distribution area. Prost!
