Celis Brewery (Austin, Texas) has officially announced that it has sent cans of Celis White out for distribution.
To ensure that their flagship brew “is fully portable just in time for spring and summer outdoor activities”, Celis Brewery has packaged Celis White “in aluminum cans for the first time.” Originally created by Pierre Celis in 1965 and revived with the brewery in July of 2017, Celis White is brewed with its original recipe and “sparkles with remnants of Coriander and Orange Peel”. Weighing in at an easy-drinking 4.9% ABV, this signature Witbier promises an experience that is “refreshing, . . . light and effervescent.”
Selling our beer in cans offers more choice and accessibility for beer-lovers in Texas,” says Christine Celis, founder of Celis Brewery. “Our beer has been so well received on tap and in bottles, and now people can crack a Celis White at festivals and fun outdoor activities like a day at the beach, camping, picnics, boating, and anywhere glass bottles aren’t allowed. Celis White in cans with its refreshing taste is perfect to enjoy on a warm Texas afternoon. We’ll introduce other beer in cans soon.”
Celis White is available now in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans, 12 oz. bottles and on draft. You can expect to find this Year-Round offering available at fine craft beer establishments located in the areas of Texas that are normally serviced by the following distributors: Brown Distributing Co. Inc. in Austin; Andrews Distributing in Dallas, Fort Worth and Corpus Christi; Silver Eagle Distributing in Houston; GLI Distributing in San Antonio; M. L. Wismer Distributing in Baytown; Kristen Distributing Company in College Station; Del Papa Distributing Company in Galveston, Beaumont and Victoria; and Tri-City Distributors in New Braunfels, TX.
