Creature Comforts Brewing Co. (Athens, Georgia) has officially announced that Table Beer will return in November to serve as the brewery’s Fall Limited Release.
Crafted to be a “beer that best complements enjoyment with food and friends”, Table Beer is a “refreshing, versatile, and approachable” Belgian-style Blonde Ale that is “highly carbonated with an invigorating minerality.” Hop forward in nature, this beer possesses an “earthy, floral, and soft citrus hop character . . . balanced by complex Belgian yeast flavors and subtle bitterness on the finish.” The recipe is rounded off with “rustic grains and flaked oats” to give Table Beer “a nice grain flavor and firm mouthfeel.”
“Table Beer is really designed for enjoyment with food and with friends,” said CEO Chris Herron. “In an effort to make a beer that would go great with food and be something that is really easily enjoyable, we worked with a variety of different chefs – both locally here in Athens as well as in the Atlanta market – that helped define what this beer would taste like.”
Table Beer releases in mid-November and will stick around for a limited time. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-friendly establishments located in Athens and Atlanta, Georgia. Prost!
