Rogue Ales (Newport, Oregon) has officially announced the Limited Release of the 2018 vintage of Santa’s Private Reserve.
Brewed specifically to put a smile on Santa’s face this holiday season, the 2018 release of Santa’s Private Reserve is a Belgian-style Dark Ale that has been tweaked this year to include tangerines and boysenberries. This fruit-laden approach supplies a holly jolly experience that combines “spicy Belgian yeast and roasty malts with the tartness from boysenberries and tangerines [to capture] the flavors of the season.” Weighing in at 7.9% ABV, Santa’s Private Reserve (2018) “is best when enjoyed with friends, family and reindeer.”
“This year we wanted to be bold and different,” says Rogue Brewmaster John Maier. “So I brewed old St. Nick a Belgian-style beer with a Rogue twist and put his jolly face on the bottle.”
“It’s the perfect beer to drink while double-checking a certain list,” says Claus.
Santa’s Private Reserve (2018) is rolling out now with plans to hang around through December. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 22 oz. bottles and on draft at select craft beer and Santa-friendly retailers, bars and restaurants located in Alabama, Florida, Oregon and throughout the rest of Rogue’s nationwide distribution area. Prost!
