Terrapin Beer Co. (Athens, Georgia) has officially announced that it will introduce Jazz Cabbage Hemp IPA on July 10.
Expanding upon Terrapin’s “Grateful Dead roots” and weed-referencing beer names like Wake-n-Bake and Dave’s Not Here, Jazz Cabbage is an American India Pale Ale that “packs in [the brewery’s] very own special strain of hemp flavors, and is brewed with hemp seeds.” This approach creates “aromas of the choicest nugs [which] give way to skunky, resinous hop flavors from a blend of three high quality hops: Chinook, Columbus, and Simcoe.” Coming in at 6.6% ABV and 52 IBUs, Jazz Cabbage is sure to be “one of Terrapin’s dankest releases to date.”
Jazz Cabbage Hemp IPA is set to debut at Terrapin Beer Co. on July 10 and distribution is scheduled to follow shortly after the on-site release. You can expect to find this new brew available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-friendly establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and throughout the rest of Terrapin’s distribution area. Prost!
