Off Color Brewing Introduces Silly People American-style Gose

OffColorLogoOff Color Brewing (Chicago, Illinois) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Silly People, an American Gose-style Ale, this week.

Arriving as Off Color Brewing’s “boldest gose yet”, Silly People (4.5% ABV) is an American-style Gose brewed with lemon peel, coriander and salt and “fermented with a mixed cocktail of Lactobacillus, Torulaspora and Brettanomyces.”  This recipe provides a complex experience featuring “notes of lactic acid, lemon juice, and grapefruit juice . . . balanced by a rising bread body and enhanced by a mouthful of salinity from French grey sea salt. It’s basically a Salty Dog.”

Silly People debuted at a “first taste” launch event at All Together Now on Wednesday, June 26. It is then scheduled to hit The Mousetrap at Off Color Brewing on June 27 with “very limited local and national distribution to follow.” You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 250ml bottles and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Illinois and throughout the rest of Off Color Brewing’s distribution network.  Prost!
