Straight to Ale Set for Return of Laika Bourbon Barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout

STA_hat_logo_400x400Straight to Ale (Huntsville, Alabama) has officially announced that its fan-favorite Laika Bourbon Barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout will make its annual return on November 22, 2019.

Named after the adventurous Soviet space dog who became the first animal to orbit Earth, Laika is a “rich and robust” Russian Imperial Stout that has spent an extensive amount of time aging in Bourbon barrels.  Clocking in at 10.1% ABV, Laika “pours as black as [Straight to Ale’s heart] with notes of chocolate, coffee and is slightly boozy on the finish.”

Laika Bourbon Barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout is scheduled to hit Straight to Ale’s Taproom on November 22 and will enter distribution at or around that date.  You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-friendly establishments located in Alabama, Florida and throughout the rest of the brewery’s distribution area.
