Better Beverage Leaders, Inc. | BBL, Inc. (Frederick, Maryland) has officially announced that it will begin importing 500ml cans of Brouwerij Huyghe’s (Melle, Belgium) Delirium Nocturnum into the U.S. in September 2020.

Packaged for the first time in cans, Delirium Nocturnum is a long beloved Belgian Strong Dark Ale that possesses alluring aromatics of caramel, mocha, chocolate and spices such as liquorice and coriander. Weighing in at 8.5% ABV, Delirium Nocturnum boasts a “very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness” and a flavor profile that features an increasing bitterness – “partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt” – that eventually strikes “a nice balance between bitterness, tartness and sweetness.”

According to BBL, Inc., U.S. bound cans of Delirium Nocturnum have “a projected landing date of September 2020.” Once it hits stateside, you can expect to find this Year-Round offering available in 4-packs of 500ml cans at craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida and throughout the rest of the country.
