Flying Dog Celebrates 30 Years with Release of Great Job! West Coast DIPA

Flying Dog Brewery (Frederick, Maryland) has officially announced that it will recognize its 30th Anniversary with the release of Great Job!, a West Coast-style Double IPA, in late September 2020.

The embodiment of “everything [Flying Dog’s brewmasters] have learned in the past 30 years,” Great Job! is a West Coast-style Double India Pale Ale that “balances out the bitterness from Columbus, Centennial and Simcoe hops with subtle toasted malt sweetness.” Coming in at 9% ABV, Great Job! is a “medium bodied brew . . . bursting with dank and piney hop aromas and pours a light orange/amber color.”

“Our fans are the reason we wake up in the morning, and we’re forever thankful for their continued support of damn good craft beer,” said James Maravetz, VP of Marketing for Flying Dog Brewery. “Actions also speak louder than words, so if there is someone in your life that deserves to hear ‘great job!’, don’t just tell them, crack open a beer and hand them one in recognition.”

“To elaborate on a thought from our beloved friend and the artistic genius Ralph Steadman, it’s been 30 years from there to here,” said Jim Caruso, CEO for Flying Dog Brewery. “Thank you to all of our fellow travelers and kindred spirits for joining us on this great adventure. We love you and we are even more enthusiastic about the upcoming decades.”

Great Job! is scheduled to release on September 18 and will hang around as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release offering available in 6-packs of 12 oz. bottles and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and throughout the rest of Flying Dog’s distribution area. Prost!
