Allagash Brewing Company (Portland, Maine) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Haunted House, a hoppy dark ale, in late September 2020.
First brewed in 2015 with the inspiration found in Allagash’s “love of pitch-black porters and Allagash House Beer,” Haunted House is an American Porter brewed with Roasted Barley and Blackprinz Malt and hopped with Crystal, Nugget, Cascade, and Northern Brewer hops. Coming in at 6.66% ABV, Haunted House is cursed with “a gravely dark hue . . ., a ghostly coffee note and hauntingly complex malty palate.”
“Haunted House is one of our favorite fall traditions at the brewery,” said Jason Perkins, Brewmaster, Allagash. “It’s a great easy-to-drink beer as the weather cools down and we can’t wait for fans throughout our full distribution to enjoy it this fall.”
Haunted House is rolling out now and will hang around only as long as supplies last during the months of Fall 2020. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Georgia, Maine and throughout the rest of Allagash Brewing’s distribution footprint. Prost!
