Deep Ellum Brewing Company (Dallas, Texas) has officially announced that it will begin the Seasonal Release of Deep Winter Golden Porter in late November 2020.
Meant to be as “confusing as driving in Texas during the winter,” Deep Winter is a Golden Porter that lacks “dark colors or bitterness” but “bundles flavors of cocoa nibs and coffee” for “plenty of sweetness and roast.” Coming in at 7.3% ABV, Deep Winter supplies “all the cozy flavors of wintertime without any cold weather B.S. like numb toes and frozen windshields.”
“Pulling inspiration and techniques from previous brews, we created a wonderful dichotomy of roasted coffee in a rich golden porter. Deep Winter is packed full of complex aromas and flavors extracted with a cold brew method using a custom selection of coffee beans from our neighbors at Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters.”
– Brian Morris, Deep Ellum Innovation Brewer
Deep Winter is rolling out now and is scheduled to hang around through February 2021. You can expect to find this Seasonal Release available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located within Deep Ellum’s distribution footprint in Texas. Prost!
