Wild Leap Brew Co. (LaGrange, Georgia) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Release of Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 17 in late June 2021.

The latest installment in Wild Leap’s Alpha Abstraction Double IPA Series that “features a variety of hops and exhibits a different hop profile in each volume,” Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 17 is a Hazy/Juicy Double India Pale Ale double dry-hopped with Citiva hops “to deliver notes of peach, floral, mango and lime.” Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 17 clocks in at 8% ABV and 44 IBUs.

“This Alpha is the beginning of our collaboration with BSG’s (Brewers Supply Group) hop program,” says Chief Brewing Officer, Chris Elliott. “This version features Citiva; a new hop blend with tropical and Juicy characteristics designed to be a hop with consistent results year after year, regardless of the characteristics of the hops in the blend.”

Alpha Abstraction – Vol. 17 is available now and will hang around only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Georgia and select markets in Alabama and South Carolina. Prost!
