AleSmith Brewing Company (San Diego, California) has officially announced that it will introduce Tropical Marmalade Hazy IPA in select markets starting in July 2021.

Here to help you “beat the heat” this summer, Tropical Marmalade is a Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale featuring “intense notes of coconut, red berries and mango” sourced from Aloha and Sabro hops. Coming in at 7.1% ABV, Tropical Marmalade’s “tropical aromas evoke paradise on the palate, melding berry, floral, fruity and citrus notes from Aloha hops with distinct tangerine, coconut, tropical fruit and stone fruit notes from Sabro hops – a passionate marriage of complementary aromas inspired by the brew’s namesake spread – marmalade.”

“We’re excited for Tropical Marmalade to make a return to our seasonal lineup,” says Ryan Crisp, Head Brewer and Director of Brewery Operations at AleSmith. “It was a staff favorite from 2019, so we had to bring it back. With the tropical hop blend and flavors, plus a smooth finish, this is a perfect beer to keep cool this summer.”

Tropical Marmalade is rolling out now in select markets and is slated for wider distribution in October until the end of 2021. You can expect to find this Seasonal offering available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft at craft beer-focused establishments located in California and select other states found within the brewery’s 28-state distribution area.
