Founders Brewing Co. (Grand Rapids, Michigan) has officially announced that it will begin the nationwide Limited Release of its Oktoberfest in August 2021.

Crafted with the intent to be “all in on tradition,” Oktoberfest is a Bavarian-style Märzen brewed with “imported German malts and hops with a beautiful lager yeast for the finish.” Coming in at 6% ABV and boasting a “rich, malty and slightly sweet backbone,” Oktoberfest is “akin to the beer poured in the early days of Oktoberfest and, yes, it adheres to the Reinheitsgebot.”

Oktoberfest will hit Founder Brewing Co.’s Grand Rapids and Detroit taprooms on July 28 and nationwide distribution will follow in August. You can expect to find this Limited Release available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans, 12-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-friendly establishments located in Alabama, Florida, Michigan and throughout the rest of the brewery’s 50-state distribution network.
