Allagash Brewing Company (Portland, Maine) has officially announced that it will begin the Seasonal Release of Seconds to Summer in May 2022.

Here to add some crisp hoppiness to your summer, Seconds to Summer is a style-crossing Lager that features “traditional hops from the Czech Republic and [is] fermented with Belgian yeast.” Coming in at 4.5% ABV, Seconds to Summer “boasts a refreshingly hoppy flavor that you’ll be sipping all summer long.”

“Seconds to Summer was one of our most popular pilot beers in recent memory,” said Jason Perkins, Brewmaster at Allagash. “Our team unanimously loved this easy-drinking lager, and are really excited to be able to enjoy it during the summer.”

Seconds to Summer will launch in early May 2022 and is scheduled to hang around throughout the summer months. You can expect to find this Seasonal offering available in 12-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer focused establishments located in Florida, Maine and throughout the rest of Allagash’s full distribution footprint.
