Catawba Brewing Co. (Morganton, North Carolina) has announced that Ted Light Lime Ale has officially returned to shelves and taps, but this time it is as the brewery’s newest Year-Round offering.
Originally brewed last summer as a lighter, Small Batch variant of Catawba’s Farmer Ted’s Cream Ale, Ted Light Lime is an easy-drinking session ale (4.5% ABV) that has been “infused with a thirst-quenching hint of fresh natural lime flavor.” This offering’s refreshing citrus character “made quite a splash in the Western North Carolina beer scene” during its initial release, so the brewery is now bringing this “quintessential warm weather beer” back as a Year-Round brew with expanded distribution.
Ted Light Lime Ale is available now in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft. You can find this Year-Round offering at craft beer retailers, bars and restaurants located in Alabama, North Carolina and throughout the rest of Catawba Brewing Co.’s distribution area. Prost!
