Florida Avenue Brewing Co.’s Neapolitan Berliner Weisse Makes Seasonal Return

Florida Avenue Brewing Co. (Wesley Chapel, Florida) has officially announced that its fan-favorite and award-winning Neapolitan Berliner Weisse will return for its annual Seasonal Release in early April 2021.

Neapolitan in Florida Avenue’s take on a “centuries-old beer style, brewed with 50% German Pilsner malt, 50% malted wheat . . . soured with . . . [a] house blend of lactobacillus cultures” and then dosed with strawberries, cocoa nibs, vanilla and lactose. Coming in at 4% ABV, Neapolitan tastes like that classic three-layer ice cream treat but with a tart finish.

Neapolitan is rolling out now and will be available only as long as supplies last. You can expect to find this Seasonal offering available in 12 oz. cans and on draft at Florida Avenue’s Wesley Chapel location and at select craft beer-friendly establishments located within the brewery’s distribution footprint in Florida. FloridaAveLogoFlorida Avenue Brewing Co. (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Can Release of Never Too Late For Summer on Friday, August 2.

Fresh off a gold medal win in the “Floridaweisse” category at the 2019 Best Florida Beer Championship, Never Too Late for Summer (4% ABV) is a Berliner Weisse made with watermelon and lime.  Previously only available on draft, this release marks the first time that Never Too Late For Summer will be available in cans.

Cans of Never Too Late For Summer will debut in Florida Avenue’s Tasting Room – a shared space with Brew Bus Brewing on August 2.  Never Too Late For Summer will be available in 4-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft through September or as long as supplies last.  Outside of special events, this Limited Release offering will be available exclusively at Florida Avenue Brewing Co. in Tampa and GB’s Bottle Shop and Tasting Bar in Orlando. FLAveCucumber2Florida Avenue Brewing Co. (Tampa, Florida) has officially announced that it will begin the Seasonal Release of its fan-favorite Cucumber Berliner Weisse in early May 2019.

Serving as Florida Avenue Brewing Co.’s “interpretation of a centuries old beer style”, Cucumber Berliner Weisse is a kettle-soured Berliner Weisse “brewed with 50% German Pilsner malt, 50% malted wheat and made with fresh English cucumbers.”  To harness all the cucumbery goodness possible, this year’s version of Cucumber Berliner Weisse (4% ABV) uses over 200 lbs. of cucumbers per batch.

Cucumber Berliner Weisse officially hit the Florida Avenue Brewing Co./Brew Bus Brewing Tasting Room on May 8 and is scheduled to hang around through August 2019.  You can expect to find this Seasonal offering available in 4-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer friendly-establishments located within Florida Avenue’s distribution footprint in Florida.  Prost!
