Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, Florida) has announced that Marshal Zhukov’s Russian Imperial Stout will officially hit distribution as a Limited Release in November, but beer lovers in Tampa can get a first taste of this year’s batch now in the brewery’s Tasting Room.
Brewed as an homage to “arguably one of the finest generals of World War II”, Marshal Zhukov’s is a Russian Imperial Stout that is “opaque black in color, with notes of espresso, chocolate, dark toffee and hints of blackstrap molasses.” Finding balance with a “subtle herbal dryness” sourced from English hop varietals, the formidable Marshal Zhukov’s (11.2% ABV) “finishes with a hearty slap of roasty espresso.”
Marshal Zhukov’s is available now – in bottles and on draft – in Cigar City’s Tasting Room and is expected to enter full distribution in November 2018. You can expect to find this Special Release in 22 oz. bottles and on draft at craft beer-focused establishments located in Alabama, Florida and throughout the rest of Cigar City’s distribution footprint. Prost!
