Double Branch Artisanal Ales (Wesley Chapel, Florida) has officially announced that it will host a draft-only release event for Tropical, Like Me, a special collaboration with The Beer Table that will raise funds for Safe & Sound Hillsborough, beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 5.

Brewed by a diverse group of professional brewers and homebrewers from all around the Tampa area, Tropical, Like Me is a Fruit Beer/Braggot hybrid featuring additions of local hops and honey, pineapple, mango, orange, banana, lactose and vanilla. Clocking in at a sizable 9.4% ABV, Tropical, Like Me is a sweet treat that is guaranteed to bring all the tropical vibes you can handle. **Tropical, Like Me is an extremely Limited Release and will be available on draft only as long as supplies last**

100% of the proceeds raised by the sale of Tropical, Like Me will go to benefit Safe & Sound Hillsborough, a local initiative focused on “working together to build strong families, safe schools and healthy neighborhoods.” The funds raised during the event at Double Branch Artisanal Ales will be directed to “help community centers create eLearning environments for students who are unable to do so at home.”

The brewing of Tropical, Like Me and its release event was organized by The Beer Table, a group of craft beer lovers and professionals aiming to create positive conversations that will lead to a more accepting, diverse and inclusive beer community in the Tampa area. While doing so, the group also hopes to bring everyone to the table to help local charities and nonprofit organizations.

In addition to the release of Tropical, Like Me, this event will also feature a pop-up bookstore from The Tipsy Bookworm and The Pizza Creator will be on-site slingin’ pies.

The release of Tropical, Like Me at Double Branch Artisanal Ales (5956 Wesley Grove Blvd | Wesley Chapel, Florida) is a family-friendly event and all are welcome. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and precautions, tables will be safely spaced, seating will be limited, and masks will be required at all times when not seated.
