Oskar Blues Brewery (Longmont, Colorado) has officially announced that Oskar’s Lager, a new low-calorie and low-carb option, will join the brewery’s Year-Round lineup in early 2021.

Developed to be “the kind of beer Oskar Blues brewers always wanted to drink but couldn’t find regularly on draft in their taprooms or available in cans to take on weekend adventures,” Oskar’s Lager is an American Pale Lager that employs German lager techniques and is brewed with Pilsner malt, toasted rice and Czech Saaz hops. Coming in at just 4.2% ABV, 95 calories and 2.5 carbs per 12 oz. serving, Oskar’s Lager is “an intrepid trail buddy, a frosty fridge friend and an unfailing porch pal.”
