Champion Brewing Company (Charlottesville, Virginia) has officially announced that it will kick off summer 2021 with the late June release of Electric Light, a low-calorie/low-carb Session Ale,
Specifically formulated to serve as a recovery beer for Champion Brewing’s Charlottesville run club, Electric Light is a Light Fruit Beer featuring additions of Azacca hops, passion fruit purée, and “replenishing” Himalayan sea salt. Coming in at just 98 calories, 5g of carbs and 3.6% ABV, Electric Light “goes down so easy that you’ll want to have the next one cold and ready to follow.”

Electric Light hit Champion’s downtown taproom and Champion Grill on June 18 and is scheduled to enter distribution in the near future. You can expect to find this new Seasonal offering available in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Florida, Virginia and throughout the rest of Champion’s distribution footprint.
