Developed to be a Miami-inspired version of the style, Lime-y Vice is a Gose that boasts “an intriguing mix of tart lime, spicy coriander, and sea salt.” This combination offers a drinking experience that is “tart and lime-y up front, with a delicately salty, slightly spiced crisp finish.” Clocking in at an easy-drinking 4.7% ABV, the refreshing Lime-y Vice “is the perfect beer for every summer celebration.”

First brewed in the fall of 2014 on Harpoon Brewery’s 10-barrel pilot system as an experimental, small-batch offering, Hoppy Adventure Double IPA “quickly became one of the most sought after beers on tap at the brewery.” After the beer maintained its popularity with hop heads when it was released again last year as a draft-only release with limited distribution, the decision makers at the brewery have now officially added Hoppy Adventure to their portfolio of year-round offerings.

In celebration of being two employee-owned, independent breweries, Harpoon Brewery and Odell Brewing Co. have come together to brew 100 Barrel Series #59: EHOP as “a declaration of brewing independence.” Harpoon Vermont brewer Tom Graham and Odell brewer Bill Beymer collaborated to create two recipes of this Oatmeal Pale Ale: “one brewed at Harpoon in Boston, Massachusetts and the other brewed at Odell in Fort Collins, Colorado.”
Harpoon Brewery’s version of this Oatmeal Pale Ale is “light golden in color with a subtly tropical hop aroma and a slightly bitter finish.” 7000 pounds of oats were used in Harpoon’s recipe and were sourced from King Arthur Flour, “a renowned flour company based in Norwich, Vermont, and one of the nation’s foremost employee owned companies.” The beer comes together as a hop-forward Oatmeal Pale Ale that weighs in at 6.6% ABV and 32 IBUs.
Harpoon’s version of 100 Barrel Series #59: EHOP was officially released at a launch party with King Arthur Flour on Tuesday, October 18 at the brewery location in Windsor, Vermont.
