Tröegs Independent Brewing (Hershey, Pennsylvania) has officially announced that it will begin the Seasonal Release of Hop Horizon in early February 2022.
Developed to “usher in the spring season,” Hop Horizon is a Hazy/Juicy India Pale Ale that features a hop combination Citra, Mosaic and Sabro hops against a backbone built on “a subtle blend of pale malts, wheat and oats.” Coming in at 6.5% ABV, Hop Horizon rides “juicy waves of citrus, hints of bubblegum and a pop of tropical fruit.”
“The aroma hits you as soon as you crack a can,” says Tröegs co-founding brother and brewmaster John Trogner. “It’s like smelling a hop field in full bloom.”
Hop Horizon is rolling out now and scheduled to be around through the months of Spring 2022. You can expect to find this new Seasonal offering available in 12 oz. cans, 12 oz. bottles and on draft at select craft beer-focused establishments located in Pennsylvania and throughout the rest of the brewery’s distribution footprint. Prost!
