Heavy Seas Beer & Rheb’s Candies Collaborate on Jimmy Truffle Dessert Stout

Heavy Seas Beer (Baltimore, Maryland) has officially announced that it will begin the Limited Curbside Can Release of Jimmy Truffle Dessert Stout, a special collaboration project with Rheb’s Candies (Baltimore, Maryland), on Friday, October 23.

Developed to capture the full sensory experience found in Rheb’s iconic jimmy truffles, Jimmy Truffle is an Imperial Milk Stout that combines a hefty malt base with lactose, cocoa powder, chocolate syrup and 35 pounds of jimmies (“don’t you dare call them chocolate sprinkles!”). Weighing in at 8% ABV, Jimmy Truffle is “a luscious, chocolatey treat of a beer that’s perfect for a cool, autumn night.”

“Chocolate Jimmies are easily my favorite ice cream topping. So, when I was introduced to Rheb’s Jimmy Truffles, I became an instant fan. We tried to bring that same delectable chocolate candy experience to a beer. We used significant amounts of roasted barley, chocolate, vienna, and dark crystal malts, along with cacao powder, chocolate syrup and 35 lbs of jimmies, a touch of earthy English hops, and lactose – to produce one candilicious brew.”
– Christopher Leonard, Heavy Seas Brewmaster

“We are more than honored to be in collaboration with an outstanding local brewery! Heavy Seas and Rheb’s Candy–nothing comes close to Baltimore culture better than this! A big thanks to Heavy Seas for this opportunity!”
– Jarrod Bradley of Rheb’s Candies

Jimmy Truffle will be released curbside at Heavy Seas Beer on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24. This Limited Release will be available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans as long as supplies last. Jimmy Truffle is a brewery exclusive release and will not see distribution. Prost!
